Cappuccino-flavored fudge! Doesn’t that sound good? This recipe provides a fudgy, sweet coffee flavor. Coffee fudges are sweet and chewy, made with sugar, condensed milk, butter, and white chocolate chips. There are many names for cappuccino fudge, such as espresso and coffee fudge.
My weekend is incomplete without these coffee fudges. I usually make these fudges as a morning delight. I enjoy cappuccino and fudge, so this recipe is fantastic for me. Try this fudge recipe over the weekend, and I hope you will love it greatly. So, start your week with a bit of cappuccino fudge.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 shots espresso (or 2 tablespoons of instant coffee)
- 2/3 can condensed milk
- 1/4 cup butter (57g)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add sugar and espresso shots in a saucepan on medium-low heat. Stir the sugar syrup by picking up the pan and swirling it in the air. Bring the coffee and sugar syrup to a boil. Melt the sugar completely.
- Add condensed milk to the sugar syrup once the sugar crystals are dissolved completely. Mix it up and bring it to a boil for about 3 minutes. The syrup will start to thicken, and make sure you are mixing in between because it may start to burn.
- Mix butter and vanilla extract in syrup and mix well for another 3 minutes. Toss in white chocolate chips and mix well. To check that the fudge mixture is ready, take a small amount and make a ball. If the ball forms easily without sticking to your fingers, that means it’s the great consistency of the fudge.
- Take an 8×8 dish and line it with parchment paper. Transfer the fudge mixture, flatten the surface, and let the fudge cool to room temperature. Refrigerate it for about 3-4 hours, and cut the fudge into your desired bars and squares. Serve the cappuccino fudge with some coffee, and enjoy.
Notes
- Mix the sugar and espresso mixture completely. When the sugar and espresso mixture is completely dissolved, add condensed milk.
- Wait until the sugary syrup and condensed milk are completely mixed. This will ensure the creamy flavor of the fudge.
- Check the consistency of the cappuccino fudge mixture through a ball test. Take a very small piece of the fudge mixture and roll it into a ball. The fudge batter is ready for the further procedure if it is easily made without mess.
- Let the fudge batter cool at room temperature before putting it in the refrigerator. It will help smooth the freezing process and make the fudge firm, sweet, fudgy, and chewy.
- Before cutting the fudge, dip the knife in hot water for a while to ensure smooth cutting. Cut the coffee fudge into squares, bars, or any desired shape. Sprinkle with cocoa powder and cinnamon, or add the coffee bean for a beautiful presentation of this cappuccino fudge recipe.
