You love the idea of sushi and have found a chicken tempura roll. Crispy, juicy chicken inside with a creamy avocado wrapped in sushi rice and nori sheet.

For Sushi Rice
- 1 cup of short-grain rice
- 1 ¼ cup of cold water
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
For Chicken Tempura Roll
- 1 chicken breast
- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 nori sheet
- ½ cup plain flour
- ½ cup corn flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 ½ cup cooking oil
- 1 avocado
- White and black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preparation of Chicken: Take a chicken breast and cut it into thin slices. Remember to use a sharp knife. Mix plain flour, corn flour, salt, pepper, and water well. Now, add the chicken slices to the chicken tempura batter.
- Making the Tempura Chicken: Heat oil in a pan, and turn the flame on. Let the oil heat to medium. Dip the chicken slices into the batter and coat them with breadcrumbs. Fry them on low-medium heat until golden and crispy. Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
- Assembly of Chicken Sushi Roll: Take a nori sheet and place it on a sushi mat. Spread sushi rice uniformly on the nori sheet with a wet hand
- Roll the Sushi: Roll the nori sheet with your hand with the help of a sushi mat. Use a rolling sushi mat to roll it with tight hands.
- Rolling Methods: I made some sushi with a nori sheet on the outside and filling ingredients on the inside. I flipped the nori sheet with sushi rice spread so that the rice was on top and the nori sheet was on the inside, added the filling ingredients, and rolled it with a mat.
- Cutting and Serving: Cut your roll into pieces with a sharp knife, serve it on a serving plate, and sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds. Your sushi roll is ready to serve. Serve with your desired sauces. Enjoy!
