Description

Just an almond? No, I love chocolate covered almonds, as they are so yum, Healthy, and nutritious. And the best part? Caramelized almonds swirl and dance in dark melted chocolate and cocoa powder.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 200g raw whole Almonds
  • 18g unsalted butter
  • 180g dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (optional)

For making Green Tea White Chocolate Covered Almonds

  • 50g white chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of green tea powder

Instructions

Notes

  1. Melt the chocolate slowly, like in a double boiler, or microwave it for 30 seconds, stirring in between, until it melts completely.
  2. Cool the caramelized almonds before dipping them in melted chocolate. Separate the caramelized almonds to prevent them from sticking together.
  3. Mixing the almonds in chocolate to cover them thoroughly is an art and a turning point. Cover the almonds in chocolate intervals while continuously stirring the almonds in the chocolate.
