Description
Are you prepared to take your seafood experience to the next level with a delectable Jonah Crab Claws recipe in a garlic butter sauce?
This simple and flavorful recipe is ideal for your upcoming dinner gathering or special event. Jonah crabs have a lovely subtle sweetness, whether with butter or classic mustard sauce. I lean towards the garlic butter sauce. A great way to enjoy Jonah crab is with potatoes boiled or roasted, some other roasted vegetables, grilled corn on a cob, or sauteed veggies.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of Jonah crab claws
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Crab Claws: Before using the frozen Jonah crab claws, defrost them and quickly wash them with water. Pat dries the crab claw.
- Make Garlic Butter: Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan and heat it until hot enough to cook the garlic. Cook the garlic till it changes from light to golden brown.
- Add Crab Claws: When the garlic turns light golden brown, add the claws and continue cooking for 15-20 minutes or until they turn orange. Sprinkle the parsley. Add some ground black paper, salt, and lemon juice.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the Jonah crabs with mustard sauce, lemon slices, boiled or roasted potatoes, and grilled cob. Enjoy the crab claws as soon as they are served.
