Description
Today I want to add some sweetness to your life by this Peach Bread Recipe. This recipe is made from summer peaches which is delicious, moist, quick, and easy to make. It’s great for a breakfast party, brunch, coffee break, or evening tea. Peaches are everywhere during summer. So instead of using canned peaches I am using fresh Peaches in this recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 egg
- Half cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 cup diced (peaches)
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
For Optional Glazing:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Dice the Peaches: Take fresh ripened peaches and cut them into dice shapes. You can cut the peaches according to your preference.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Add canola oil, egg, and vanilla extract to a bowl and whisk them. Now add sugar and whisk it with the wet ingredients until it is dissolved. Powdered sugar will give a smooth consistency.
- Add the Dry Ingredients: Now add dry ingredients to the wet mixture we prepared before. Gradually add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Combine it with a wooden spoon until well combined. Don’t overmix the mixture.
- Fold in Peaches: Gradually add the diced cut peaches to the mixture and gently fold into the mixture.
- Prepare the loaf pan and pour the bread batter: Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf baking pan. Pour the prepared mixture into a loaf pan and smooth the top with a wooden spatula.
- Bake: Oven-bake the peach bread in a preheated oven (350°F) for about 1 hour. Insert a toothpick into the bread. If it comes out dry, then your peach bread is completely cooked.
- Cool and Serve: Let the peach bread cool for 5 minutes, then cut it into pieces with a sharp knife.Serve it with tea and coffee. It’s a great snack with tea, perfect for brunch.
Notes
- Too soft or ripe peaches will make our peach bread soft. If you don’t have fresh peaches, you can use canned peaches.
- Keep your peach bread batter sparingly because overmixing our batter will make it challenging.
