Description
I don’t crave pumpkins…I pour them in a cup. Pumpkin spice cappuccino sounds like autumn in a cup. Last night my husband asked me to order a pumpkin spice cappuccino from the nearest coffee shop while reading a book. I tell him that I have a secret for you….
“Make your own fall-inspired cappuccino at home, a latte or cappuccino,” to cut costs.
I love making my cappuccino, latte, and espresso at home because it saves me money, and I can get as creative as I want with my drinks without paying extra for them.
Pumpkin spice cappuccino is so delicious, easy to make at home, and a perfect drink for the spooky season.
Ingredients
- 2 shots of espresso
- ½ cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin puree
- 3 teaspoons of maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- Canned whipped cream
Instructions
- Mix the Ingredients: Mix ¼ tsp of pumpkin pie spice, 3 tsp of maple syrup, 1 tsp of pumpkin puree, and ½ cup of hot milk and stir thoroughly.
- Froth the milk: Froth the milk for about a minute or until froth thoroughly. By frothing the milk will become thicker and creamier.
- Shots of espresso: Fill the portafilter with espresso ground coffee. Brew a double shot of espresso. Mix well.
- Pour and garnish: Squirt whipped cream over the top of coffee and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Serve: Serve and enjoy while curled up on a couch cushion!
Notes
- Always serve your pumpkin spice cappuccino hot to experience better flavor.
- Use good quality pumpkin puree. I recommend you use homemade pumpkin puree.
- Froth the milk to increase the richness and creaminess of coffee.
- You can use freshly ground coffee beans for shots of espresso.
