Description

Roasted garlic butter is the most delicious, flavored butter humanity has ever made! The roasted garlic combined with butter and a touch of herbs is absolutely a match made in heaven!

Since I have a lot of herbs, garlic, and parsley in my mini garden, I always try to find ways to utilize them effectively, especially in summer. After seeing herbs and garlic, I immediately thought of making a flavored herby and garlicky thing. But thyme? Parsley? Rosemary? And garlic? What’s next? Oh yes! Obviously, Roasted garlic butter with lots of herbs. What’s better than a generous layer of garlicky butter on crusty bread? I mean, why not?

If you are a fan of herbs and garlic, then I highly recommend you make this butter to enlighten simple recipes and introduce bold flavors to any dish, whether it’s mashed potatoes or steak. In case you are not a big supporter of herbs, just skip herbs and try the recipe with only roasted garlic. To tell you this, it’s also good, but for people like me who love herbs, it’s just magnificent with them. You are free to add your favorite herbs like chives, parsley, thyme or anything!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g salted butter, room temperature
  • 1 bulb garlic
  • A sprig of rosemary
  • A sprig of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Chop the Herbs: Finely chop your favorite herbs with a knife or chopper. I chopped rosemary, thyme, and parsley.

Notes

  1. Just Use the Softened Butter: Don’t take the cold butter out of the fridge, as it will be difficult to mix in the herbs and garlic. Don’t think of warming the butter in the microwave because it will start melting, and we never want melted butter for this recipe. Just take the butter out of the fridge and let it sit on the kitchen shelf until it is soft, most accurately at room temperature.
  2. Fold the Desired Herbs: It is not necessary to use these specific herbs in this butter. The choices are endless. Go for your mini garden herbs or any herbs you just bought from the market.
