Description

Lipton onion soup meatloaf recipe has been my favorite since childhood. Meatloaf is a quick, easy, delicious comfort food. A long time ago, when I was learning how to cook, meatloaf was one of the first things, because it’s so easy and versatile.

Ingredients

Scale
  • pounds 680g 90/10 ground beef
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅓ cup ketchup

For glazing:

  • 1 cup Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: First preheat the oven at 350°F (175°C) degrees.
  2. Prepare the Meat Mixture: Now it’s time for the meat mixture. Take a big bowl and add 90/10 ground beef. Now add two eggs to the meat. A cup of breadcrumbs is added to a bowl. Now add one packet of Lipton seasoning. You can put whatever seasoning you like. ¾ cup of water. Now add 1/3 cup of ketchup. Now mix everything with your hand or spoon.
  3. Shape the Meatloaf: Take the loaf pan and spread foil. Now dump all the prepared mixture and shape the meat into a loaf with your hands. Make sure your meatloaf is combined well.
  4. Bake: Put the loaf into the oven and bake it for 1 hour.
  5. Prepare the Glaze Topping: Now prepare the Glaze Topping. In a bowl mix 1 cup of ketchup, and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and mix it well. Now brush the sauce on meatloaf Lipton onion soup.
  6. Rest and Slice: Before slicing the meatloaf, rest it for 20 minutes and then slice it. Use a sharp knife for slicing the thick and juicy meatloaf.

Notes

  • Just mix the ingredients until well combined. Don’t over-mix the meatloaf mixture because it will make your meatloaf hard.
  • Use a thermometer to check the temperature of your meatloaf after baking if the temperature is 165°F (74°C) then your meatloaf is done properly.
  • Rest your meatloaf for 20 minutes after baking this will allow the juices and moisture to distribute equally.
  • If you want to make your meatloaf juicier, you can take 80/20 ground beef.
