Expert Tips
- Use quality shrimp and tortillas for the best results.
- Don’t overcook the shrimp because it will lose its natural taste. If we cook shrimp for a long time, they become rubbery. Please don’t choose the slimy shrimps with their color change.
- Season the shrimp properly and ensure they are well-coated. This will help the flavors completely absorb in shrimp.
- Place the veggies salad first, followed by the cooked shrimp and sauce. Wrap it all together; if you want to secure it, use a toothpick.
Shrimp Wrap Ideas
Serve these shrimp wraps with
- Your favorite corn salsa or sweet potato fries.
- Side salads of your favorite veggies.
- Cilantro lime sauce is also the best option for serving your wraps.
- Colorful fruit skewers with pineapple, watermelon, and berries. Savory shrimp wraps balance the sweetness of these fruits.
Storage options
- If you have leftover shrimp wrap, wrap it in aluminum foil and refrigerate it in an airtight container. In this way, you can store it for 2-3 days. I don’t recommend storing it too long because the veggies will get soggy, and the taste will not remain the same. I recommend storing all the filling of the wrap separately in compartments. If you have a separate compartment in a container, place the tortilla, shrimp, and veggies separately.
- I don’t recommend you freeze the wrap. Freezing will not work for these shrimp wraps.
- Reheating the shrimp wrap is not best, but you can reheat it in the microwave or over a dry skillet. Open the tortilla wrap and microwave for 1-2 minutes or until warm. Or warm it on a dry skillet and reheat it
