Things for Iced Milk Latte

  • Double shot espresso: Double shot espresso is 60ml of brewed coffee using an espresso machine or Nespresso. 2 shots of espresso will provide you the necessary dose of your daily caffeine and satisfy your caffeine craving. If you want more strong coffee flavors, then you can use 3 shots of espresso. It is totally up to you! The same amount of strongly brewed coffee can be substituted for the espresso shots.
  • Brown sugar: 2 tablespoons of brown sugar will give the necessary sweetness to your latte. I am using 2 tablespoons for this latte, but you can skip the sugar part or increase the sweetness by using 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
  • Hot water: 1-2 tablespoons of hot water is used to dissolve the brown sugar.
  • Oat milk: Non-dairy option for whole milk is oat milk. Oat milk is the best flavor, creamy, and thick to use in lattes. I am using 400 ml Oatly Full-Fat oat milk for a creamy latte texture. You can use homemade oat milk or any other oat milk that is easily available to you. You can make this recipe with any other milk if you want like almond milk, coconut milk, or whole milk.
  • Ice cubes: Take ice cubes to fill a glass to make the cold iced latte.

How to Shake Milk

To shake the oat milk just add the oat milk in a jar. Shake it well for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form and oat milk becomes airy, fluffy, and creamy. The other method to shake the milk is to blend the Oat milk for 2-3 minutes and get the creamier version of Oat milk. You can use a French press to froth the warm milk.
